Thanksgiving and Big News
With thanksgiving coming up this week I just wanted to wish everyone a great thanksgiving day. I am thankful for so many things that I don't have the time nor the space to mention them all. Thanksgiving day has many traditions and my family is no different. All the men in the family who fish go on a morning fly fish. We all look forward to this day to catch up with everyone and talk about everything that one can imagine. This year I have a bit of info to share with them that will amaze them. I am not going to tell you what it is until I have told them. I will post next Sunday and let you all know how it went. Wish me luck and keep you lines tight.

History but bad fishing
With the fishing down this week I am going to focus on the history that the citizens of this country saw this week. Whether or not you voted for John McCain or Barrack Obama you have to admire how fair we have come as a country. Who would have ever thought that we would elect an African American president. I am amazed and excited about the outcome of the election. On election night you know that all the people who worked for civil rights in this country were smiling ear to ear. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is finally seeing his dream a reality and he is smiling down on this country. I hope that president elect Obama will do all that he has promised and this great country of ours will unite and become stronger than ever.
This week I didn't talk about fishing because I am very frustrated with it. The fishing is off and the time I have fished this week without results has made me a very salty dog. I will continue to work in it and I hope I can give a better report to you next Sunday. Keep you lines tight and wish me better results.
