Good news
Well folks the news I kept from you last week is that I am getting married. I have been with my girlfriend for 5 years. I told my family over the break and they all were excited. Forget all that lets talk about the fishing. Our annual thanksgiving trip was a very good one. We caught 30 trout between four of us. We all had a great time. The fishing was good but it was very cold. Keep you lines tight. post again soon.

Thanksgiving and Big News
With thanksgiving coming up this week I just wanted to wish everyone a great thanksgiving day. I am thankful for so many things that I don't have the time nor the space to mention them all. Thanksgiving day has many traditions and my family is no different. All the men in the family who fish go on a morning fly fish. We all look forward to this day to catch up with everyone and talk about everything that one can imagine. This year I have a bit of info to share with them that will amaze them. I am not going to tell you what it is until I have told them. I will post next Sunday and let you all know how it went. Wish me luck and keep you lines tight.

History but bad fishing
With the fishing down this week I am going to focus on the history that the citizens of this country saw this week. Whether or not you voted for John McCain or Barrack Obama you have to admire how fair we have come as a country. Who would have ever thought that we would elect an African American president. I am amazed and excited about the outcome of the election. On election night you know that all the people who worked for civil rights in this country were smiling ear to ear. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is finally seeing his dream a reality and he is smiling down on this country. I hope that president elect Obama will do all that he has promised and this great country of ours will unite and become stronger than ever.
This week I didn't talk about fishing because I am very frustrated with it. The fishing is off and the time I have fished this week without results has made me a very salty dog. I will continue to work in it and I hope I can give a better report to you next Sunday. Keep you lines tight and wish me better results.

Election!!!
Although as you have noticed I enjoy talking about fishing in my entries at this time you have to start thinking about the election. There are so many critical issues that it is hard to keep up with them all. You have to continue to ask yourself, who will lead this country in the right direction and get us out of the financial hole we are in? I am not going to tell you who I think it is but it is just a little question to think about. Keep your lines tight. PLEASE VOTE!!!!

Fishing Returns!!
My fishing is back. I went fishing for the first time in weeks and had a great trip. I went fishing in the inter coastal waterway of South Carolina for red fish. We caught 25 fish on fly rods. It was the most amazing trip I have had in a long time. Fly fishing in salt water proved to be challenging at first but once I got the hang of it I was off and running. I hope more trips are to come and I intend to post pictures of my catch from this last trip. Keep your lines tight and I will post again soon.

No Fishing!!!!
No fishing for me means a sad person. I have not fished in over a month and I am beginning to panic. I have been working to open a new outdoor retail store in Charleston, South Carolina for the last month. Although I have had every intention to fish here since coming I have not. The store is coming great. Opening this store has also helped me to learn more things that are associated with this class. I have been studying and working. I hope I get to fish soon but at this point the store is way more important. Keep your lines tight and I will add more soon.
